Isabel Riley is a contemporary American artist born in 1970 in a factory town in Pennsylvania. 
Her paintings and sculpture are influenced by her scenic work in the film industry and draw inspiration from architecture, altars, monuments, textiles and personal symbology. She was an artist-in-residence at the Pouch Cove Foundation in Newfoundland in 2023 and won a Blanche E. Coleman award in 2025. 
Riley exhibits widely and her work is publicly and privately collected. 
Her work is in many public and private collections.  She lives and works in Boston, MA.
