Tim Gentle is an abstract photographer based in Toronto, Canada.
While travelling in Colombia in 2011, he became fascinated by the textures, patterns and layers of paint on dilapidated walls that resembled art one might find in a gallery.
Since then, he has amassed an extensive catalogue of accidental abstract photographs of diverse subjects - from cracked concrete, abandoned cars, rusted dumpsters and torn billboards, to the phenomenal details of wood, rock and ice.
Tim hopes his work inspires viewers to become more keenly aware of the marvellous beauty hiding in plain sight, and reminds us that the world, and us along with it, are the sum of countless mysterious collaborations.
